Boxer Mary Kom Looking Forward To Rio Olympics, 2016

Mary Kom, an Olympic Medallist Boxer from India is eagerly looking forward to the Rio Olympics that are going to be organized in Rio next year. For Mary, the Olympics next year are very special because not only is she expecting to win a medal in it, but is also looking forward to hang her gloves finally. Yes, Mary Kom wants to retire after participating and most probably winning in the Rio Olympics.

Mary is the only woman boxer who is a 5 time World Amateur Boxing Champion as well as a winner of 6 world championships. It was in the year 2012, that she won bronze medal after qualifying for the Summer Olympics. 

A mother of two, Mary Kom had a rather tough path managing her boxing career and her personal life. Her youngest child is merely 2 years old and she wants to train boxing aspirants back in her home town, Imphal.
